I put her in the "whelping box" with the gate up, and she slept in it last night. No problem at all. In fact, I can't imagine why she WOULDN'T want to, since there is extra padding and much more room than her normal night time kennel.
When my girls were younger, we tried to let them sleep with us, but, unfortunately, I was getting NO SLEEP! I am a light sleeper, and every time I moved, they moved, then it would take them 5 minutes to get comfortable again, which made ME restless & move again, which made THEM move again. . . and so on. . . . and so on. . . .
You see, my marriage was more important than my dogs at that point!!! |
