I personally own 2 singers (older models but really nice sewing machines) and a Kenmore sewing machine(also an older model). I am looking into purchasing a Husqvarna Viking computerized embroidery/sewing machine soon though.

I totally agree. I have a High end Viking with the embrodery unit. I LOVE it. Bernina makes excellent machines, too. My mother sells them and we are both in quilt guilds.
