I want to buy a good quality sewing machine. Money isn't really a problem but I'd prefer not to spend a fortune on it if I don't have to. I'd also like one that is a decent size ... not super big. I'd also like it to be easy to use (like a sewing machine for dummys lolol)

Any suggestions? If you know of a great brand please let me know or even post a link. Thanks.

Bernina and Husqvarna are really good brands Of course other company's like singer and brother also make really good machines but you have to be careful becasue they make "High end" and "low end" machines and the cheaper machines sound really loud and break easily. You get what you pay for. My mother is a professional quilter and she always recommends Bernina to everyone and she has been sewing for 30+ years, she loves those machines.

I personally own 2 singers (older models but really nice sewing machines) and a Kenmore sewing machine(also an older model). I am looking into purchasing a Husqvarna Viking computerized embroidery/sewing machine soon though.

Hope that helps
