As V said, the grass isn't (or is) greener. I'm the total opposite - country girl all the way! With the exception of the 6 years I lived in the greater New Orleans area with hubby, I've been "in the country". Yep, it does get rather boring here where I live and I can SO relate to the comment about high school football - but, I LOVE football so I do have fun at the games (I always forget I'm not in front of my tv at those games and yell out "break his legs, take him out at the knees"). But as boring as it may get at times, I so enjoy looking out my front window at the deer that walk across our yard - so peaceful. And the privacy that we have out here can't be found in the city. But to someone who's not grown up with the lifestyle, I can understand how boring it can be. I hope things improve and some excitement enters your life there soon
