My baby is 1.7lbs at 14 weeks - the breeder estimates that her weight will be less than 4lbs. It's difficult to guess though - some just have growth spurts later than others. You could end up with a puppy in the 4 to 5lb range. I think to get an estimate of size, you triple their weight at 12 weeks and add a pound (?) - this formula doesn't work for everyone though. Oscar has only gained a pound and a half in the last 6 months.
Their hair grows at a rate of about a half an inch a month - like their size growth rate, their hair will grow at different rates as well. Your puppy will have a nice full coat before you know it! |
