I've heard that hawks can't pick up more than their body weight is. True or not I dont know but we have a couple around here that would for sure weigh more than any 2 lbs. I dont even know if Maggie has hit 2 lbs or not yet. She was 1.6 oz a week ago. she had only gained 2 oz in 10 days at the time. But even if they arent big enough to take kizzy the talons would kill her if they tried to pick her up. |
