How do you get your mama-to-be interested in the whelping box? It's all cozy with blankets & such, has a toy in it, and I put her blanket on top (the one that she sleeps on in her smaller kennel. The whelping box is actually the bottom 1/2 of my BIG outdoor dog's dog house.

What do you do to get them comfortable enough to lay down & sleep in it prior to pups being born? Or is that not even necessary?
