Either last year or the year before I remember hearing about 2 instances when hawks killed yorkies--one yorkie was attacked in the owner's backyard and the other was grabbed from the owner's front porch (the owner was sitting on the porch!), and dropped from a few feet in the air. Both yorkies died
. We have to be very careful if we live in areas where hawks fly. I didn't even know that hawks lived in my area until I heard about these poor yorkies
