I just got bad news...Sammi's protein levels and red blood count are continuining to drop
Her levels are so low the vet said she could possible go into cardiac arrest
...They did an ultra sound and the vet that did it thought she was an elderly dog because the condition of her liver was so bad...Dr. Palmer (GSVS) said that it was definetly something she had and her body adjusted to over time and her body couldnt take it anymore and now this is happening...She is continuing to administer medication, plasma and blood to make her comfortable but Sammi's prognosis is VERY POOR right now
My heart is so heavy right now...I am trying to be strong, but its so difficult...I also do not want my girl to suffer...
The vet will call me if anything changes...
