I really think they should be started off learning the pee pad or going out side which ever method you decide to use. Just don't expect too much response at first. You have to be allert at all times as to what they are doing. The usual shortly after eating, playing and napping going to potty. But I found that taking them out (or to pee pad) about every 15 to 20 minutes with a treat or praise has worked for Buckeye and Ahia is almost there too. They eventually learn that this is where you want them to go. In my opinion, if you don't let them know from the first day they will think it is just fine to go on the floor. Its like:
"Oh gee I better stop here and pee"
SQUAT
and then eventually its:
"Oh gee I gotta pee but they like me to go over there so I will"
and even if they can't control it at first they will at least try.
Of course this is just my train of thought.
How old will they be when you bring them home? 2 at the same time.. Oh I can't wait to hear about them. you are going to be busy huh?
