well sounds like its just the puppys way of getting scooters attn to play. That is what Maggie does sometimes to kizzy when Kizzy is laying there doing nothing. But Kizzy brings toys up in her face and intices her to grab one end so they can fight over them and she grabs it. Once Kizzy takes it away. she chases her all over the place nipping at kizzys back legs and if kizzy stops and lays down she jumps on her head and they both start biting each other, but you can tell its playing. Its rare for one of them to yelp like its hurt. Kizzy is 8 lbs and Maggie is not even 2 lbs yet. But she really give Kizzy a run for the money. I think after a while scooter will get use to him and figure out he is trying to play, least I hope so. Kizzy didnt know what to do with Maggie when I first got her either. but they are much closer in age than your two are. Good luck with them all and I hope they will become friends.
