Angry Hawk

omg, I got scared. I have two big trees in my front yard. This evening just a little while ago, I had the puppies out to potty. Maggie was teeing and Kizzy and I were playing waiting for her. all of a sudden I heard this loud screeching sound just up over me. I heard leaves rustling, suddenly it hit me. omg its a hawk up there. I grabbed them both and flew in the house. I never did see it but I know it was one. I called my brother in law to see what they sound like and he said thats about the way one sounds when I tried to tell him how it sounded. About a week ago, I was sitting on the deck, hubby was at the lake feeding the fish and suddenly I heard something and my garage is right at the end of our deck and the pond is just down a ways from their. I looked up and this huge hawk was so low I just knew it was gonna hit its wing on the top of the garage when he flapped it down. But it didnt and it flew right on down to the trees by the pond. From my deck I can see the fish jump in the water when hubby feeds them. I dont actually see the fish unless they jump way up but ya know the big splashes they make. I can hear and see the white water splashing up. I know that hawks wing span had to be at least 3 feet wide from tip to tip. So everybody please watch it when your outside especially if you live out and know you have hawks in your area. I know for a fact we do. I'm glad for sure I dont let Maggie out alone. She would of probably been attack today, even kizzy possibly, even tho she is 8 lbs. I dont think one would pick her up now but those talons could possibly kill her if one just tried to.
