I am a little worried about taking my babies to the groomers as well (I think I've heard far more horror stories than I have pleasant experiences) so I bought myself a good pair of grooming scissors with a blunt tip so I can maintain their coats myself - I just trim the tips to keep it tidy looking. Look for a groomer who has experience with yorkies and take a good picture with you of how you want your baby to be cut - that way there is no room for 'misinterpretation' and you should get what you want.
