I keep the top of the nose pretty much shaved simply for convenience. Now, I'm pretty sure that show dogs don't do this. My 2 have short hair, but here is a pic just to show you what their noses and face look like.
P.S. -- I love your little girl's name. My first yorkie that I ever had that was my "own" was named Sophie.
