I had the same thought to bring my baking scale, but I didn't.
As soon as I saw her she was bigger than I wanted.

My heart was broken and the dog was so nervous, like she knew she was being given away. The owner all she wanted was to get paid for the dog and leave me with whatever problems I might or might not encounter.
Complained about the traffic, etc that they had gone through to get to my location. I had been speaking with her since I believe late Thursday night.
Asked several times if she had weight the dog and stated that everything was packed up and didn't have a scale. They were loads of excuses of not wanting to weight the dog. Even though I specifically told her that I was looking for a dog no more than 6 to 7 lbs. and that I didn't have a car and that I would have to literally carry her around when I was away from the home.

I pray she gets a good loving home.

Mine is a simple food scale with a bowl on top that goes to 7 pounds and costs under $10.00 at Walmart or Target. It's great for puppies, but I can also weigh my adults in it.
