Natalie I think the main reason not to cut the face hair is because she is wanting her dogs hair long. If you look at the pretty pictures of her pups they have long hair. It takes quite a while to get the hair long enough so that it doesn't stand up in their eyes and such, you don't want all that time to go to waste. This is just what I think though. We're growing Reagan's hair out and this is what I would guess having dealt with her hair.
Another question, if you are growing your dogs hair out how often should you have them groomed. She's over 6 months old and I haven't had her groomed yet. The hair on her feet does need trimming I will say that.
