There are a lot of Internet Service Providers that offer free website hosting and setting up with step by step instructions. If you prefer not to have to have a gigantic URL address meaning "http://www.geocities.com/blah blah/blahblahhhh/blah", you can use a couple of programs like Microsoft Publisher (get how to use manuals used at Amazon). Then you would need to host the name of your site w/someone. Godaddy is a large, reliable website. You can host there and pick your website name, like "myfirstyorkie.com" or whatever that isn't already taken. Make sure you don't choose anything like ".org" because that is orc reserved for organizational type sites. Churches, etc.

I will stop here as some of it may be confusing, but at least you would have total control over the content, etc. w/out a bunch of advertising and spyware involved when people visit your site.
