The severe damage that was done cannot be treated - and the suffering is tremendous. I've never heard him talk about dying till the other day - he was actually wishing he could just get it over with because he struggles so much to get a breath. He's on a transplant list but he won't live to receive it....even if we COULD afford it...which we can't.

It's a nasty soul-sucking disease.

I really hope for a miracle for your husband. I'm so sorry you have to watch him go through this. You're right, he is really young

Just remember to be strong, if it's too hard, atleast be strong for him.
