We had a similar situation here...someone selling pups in front of Lowes and one pup got sick with parvo.

Even with updated shots, I'm not willing to expose my babies so they must stay home. Adult dogs have been known to get parvo. Because they've built up a stronger immunity, they are less likely to die from the sickness as pups are.

FYI...parvo can stay in the soil for 7-10 years. You can treat infected areas with bleach.
