Welcome and congrats on the new arrival! I brought Gracie home at 8 weeks and she cried non-stop for days, would not let me out of her sight. At this age, they fear abandonment. After all, they were just taken from their birth mom and placed in a home of strangers. How would you feel? I let Gracie sleep on my bed in a small crate where she can see me. That way she is safe from falling off the bed at night. No crying at night. During the day, I ignored her when she cried and picked her up and cuddled her when she was quiet. After about 3 days, the non-stop crying stopped. She is starting to figure out that when I leave, I will come back. Now, she only whimpers when she wants out of her ex-pen or out of her car carrier so she can play or get on my lap. Again, I reward the good, quiet behavior and ignore the bad. Seems to be working well for us!
