It cost me 60 per puppy to have it done on my last litter of 3 pups at 10 weeks old. If the readings are very high in young puppies there is a good chance of livershunt, but to know for sure, further testing needs to be done. It only indicates that there is a problem with the liver. It does not show what the problem is, that is why you need to go with more testing. It is just the first step. |
