I had Hobbs neutered at 5 months. As long as your vet is comfortable doing it at this age, then it should not be a problem at all. Puppies at the humane society are neutered as young as 6 weeks. It is all up to how comfortable your vet is with doing it this young. It should be perfectly fine, IMO!
