I agree with Sylvan. Never have came across a vet like yours. I will have to admit I never had x-rays done when I was breeding Great Danes, but perform x-rays on all Yorkies, especially a first timer.

Now that I think about it, I actually did have an x-ray done on a Great Dane when my 2 year old daughter fed her my wedding ring! It took 3 x-rays to cover the digestive tract! I had laid my rings on the table and when I went back they weren't there. I asked my 2 year old where Mommy's rings were and she said, "Duchess eat". She was always intrigued with the diamonds and was always feeding Duchess so I assume she was showing her and Duchess thought it was food. Anyway, I did eventually get my rings back (gross) and am more careful where I place them!
