Too early for an x-ray - wait until after Day 50, but you could do an ultrasound next week, but they are usually a lot more expensive (if you are only going to do one, wait for the x-ray it's more helpful, in my opinion). An x-ray will still set you back about $100 to $150, but I always have one done. |

Good luck on the upcoming little one's. My x-rays at my vet (reproductive spec.) run me $42 each time. If a second is needed she takes $10 off the next one. If a follow up is needed post whelp it is free. And yes, please wait til day 50 or after so the bones have calcified. Best wishes with the little one's!
