As others have said, you could have brought the fleas in unknowingly. If you do find fleas in your carpet and need to "bomb" to get rid of them, make sure you do it at a time where you can leave with your baby for at least 2 hours. When you return, as someone stated, vacuum your home and throw the bag away. But remember, you will need to "bomb" or spray again in 14 days to make sure you've got them all. The first bombing will kill the fleas but not any eggs they've laid - the second bombing will kill those eggs which will have hatched by then.

Best of luck to you! We are dealing with a major influx of ticks this year where I live!!! Hubby will be dousing the yard tomorrow (2nd time this summer) to try to kill them - of course that means no outside time for the babies for a bit after he sprays!
