 They are VERY particular......
I think Yorkies are VERY particular about who they like and who they don't and they don't even have to know that person. Higgins will run right up to some people and kiss 'em all over and then avoid others, even if they appear friendly, like they have the plague. I am convinced they know things we don't know.
When we were in Florida this winter, my husband and I both fell in love with a tiny little Yorkie camping near us.....one of the big reasons we got Higgins. "Chanel" walked with her "dad" three times a day and she used to pull him like crazy to our site! He said that we were the only people in the park that she liked! She is a cutie.....and her "dad" is a very lovely man of 51 who is dying of cancer. They had to leave early because his wife's breast cancer came back and both of them are not doing very well. It is sooooo sad to know that Chanel will lose them. But they have a lovely family who will care for her. We have made provisions for Higgins and Pogo if anything should happen to us.....my son will love them for us. I hope everyone has given this some thought. |
