They are really very simple. I prefer the patterns where it has two closings. One around the neck and the other around the chest. it doen't seem to be as restricting as the ones with leg holes.

I just got the stronger velcro as I didn't feel too comfortable with the other.
Check out the cute little fasteners for bib overalls in the button department at Jo Ann's Fabrics, they are so cute, I got them to do Baby Blessing a pair of levi bibs and also the teddy bear buttons, they are in a copper color.
By the way thats how I knit the sweaters for Baby Blessing but they are put over the head with the ribbing for the neck and then the body part is beyond the front legs and there is no velcro to fasten, more in a tubular knit, I don't like the ones with the holes for legs either, the fun fur really makes soft and fluffy sweaters.
