It's so strange to come across this thread. All my life I've had dreams and "feelings" that have come true.
When I was pregant with my youngest son I dreamed that my grandfather was going to die on my 21st birthday. This was in March. He died on my birthday in August...my 21st birthday.
I've had dreams about people I've known all my life that have come true.
Several years ago, I had a weird experience at work when one of the men there came into the room I was in. Everything changed to slow motion and I saw colors? around him. I remember thinking "He's going to die".
Well, a couple of month later, my husband and I were going to dinner and were witnesses to a terrible car crash. My husband stopped the truck and we both ran to the car. The man hit a telephone pole and it was embedded in his chest. He was still alive and I held his head to keep him from thrashing around until the paramedics arrived. I looked at him, and it was the man from work. I held his head until he died.
My husband died in Oct '05. It was very unexpected. He had a massive heart attack and died in our backyard on his day off while I was at work. I came home and found him. I was devastated. About 2 weeks after the funeral I dreamed that I was in our bedroom and he came up behind me and put his arms around me. I told him that he couldn't do this to me and leave again. He told me that he didn't have a choice. He said "I love you, but I have to go. You'll be fine, baby." I woke up crying and I swear I could still feel his goodbye kiss on my lips.
Since then, I've had several dreams in which he appeared. In the latest, he told me I was doing the right thing about something I had been worrying about. Again, I woke up crying and could feel his kiss.
I feel comforted by this. I'm not sure what to make of it, I just hope it continues. |
