Boy, that last reply thread was an attack on me. You don't know me. I have only one very spoiled and loved dog, Sassy. I would like to breed her to the breed standard and feel that she is a nice Yorkie specimen when compared to a lot of "reputable breeder" dogs with their long noses and long legs. |
I am not sure what thread you are talking about, I must have missed it, but I see nothing wrong with paying a fee rather than pick of the litter.
Pick of the litter is the price of a yorkie, and I think that is a very high price to pay for a stud fee. But I'd rather pay the price of a yorkie than to give up my best pup which I might want to put into my own breeding program.
The owner of the stud can charge whatever they see fit, but I personally would not use one who charged POL
