What type of papers did she give you that didn't have the name on them....
if you still have the phone number I think I have a program on my computer that I can used to get the name that matches it ,,,also some free online programs will give you the name and address , it is called reverse lookup
My breeder too was very very cold . She however had a very sweet voice when speaking to my husband and made him belive that she was a really big show kennel. She talked him into sending her a deposit the day the puppy was born. When we went to her home to get the puppy , which she originally wanted us to take at seven weeks, we refused to pick it up that early and she called us every three days until my husband finally relented after two weeks of this mess, we never got anything that she promised. We were supposed to see the parents, get to pick which puppy we wanted out of two males, get a starter pack (which was not really a big deal) and get not only the akc papers but a pedigree.....we got nothing but the akc papers which we ended up having to pay and extra $100 for on the spot, and a pacifier.Yes I said a pacifier...a real baby pacifier..that was her starter pack....oh....I forgot she also gave us an ink pen.....with her name on it.What we didn't get was a pedigree, a choice of puppies or to see the parents. We did find out while we were there that she has about 34 dogs in total,,,yorkies and shi tzu''s .....She did invite us into the house and not an adult dog was to be seen in the room that we were ushered into. It was spotless clean and sparse of any furniture. It has a table at one end,,like an old 1950"s table....now mind you it was the middle of summre 100 degrees out side and next to this table was a fake fire place...with a fake flame....on the opposite end of the wall was the wierdest thing we had ever seen and we laughed all the way home....I guess she was trying to make a still life muriel or someing but perhaps 3-d or something..but there was a full wall.......with brown paneling on it...and a fake CHRISTMAS TREE cut in half nailed to it. the pole was plum cut in half....and the branches were smacked flat and also nailed to the wall....and in the branced was a taxidermied squirrel ,,,,but only half...like cut down the middle..and also attached to the wall..........and there was also a stuffed bird.....but only the body and one wing..no legs...with the wing sorta stuck out and it was above a branch of this fake tree....on the floor was a toy stuffed bear....also cut in half...attached to the wall..........I could go on and on but it is just to odd to continue. Anyway...there were three puppies...a very small yorkie pup...a very small shi tzu, and a larger yorkie puppy. well guess which one she handed us and said ..this is yours..he is so big because you waited to long.
well we ask at that point if she has shi tzus and she said...oh no i just bought that puppy.she was in such a hurry to get us out of there is wasn't funny..she didn't want to answer any questions and once we seen the bizzaro wall we should have taken a hint....my husband did say , what if we don't like this yorkie..and I quoate..she says...well...deposits are non-refundable.......and i can sell him five minutes after you walk out the door.
Well we took him..and paid the extra $100 and off we went. he whined and cryed and shook all the way home.......after we got him home we tried to feed him and realized ..he didn't have any teeth..we had to buy baby food and hand feed him for two weeks before they came in . he also had ear mites..his little ears were packed so full the vet said do not try to clean them out it could force them down further.she gave us a liquid that we had to drop into his ear four times a day and then he would shake his head and the crud would just fly all over....he also had NEVER been WORMED...NEVER.
He had round wormes, tape, whip and hook. it was a wonder he lived at all.
This is gross but he pooped worms solid for two days......and we have had to keep him tested and on a worming program like he was a wild animal.
once we got the wormed under control and thought that he was making strides....the vet said..we have another problem..no testicles....he was getting healthier,,,but not testicles.....four days after that visit we noticed that we were getting a lot of hair on his little bed our clothes ect. next thing we realized he had BALD SPOTS.the bald spots got worse within a week he was totally bald from the back of his head to the middle of his body....and down both sides.......one thing right after another...oddly enough I found out that she also lied about raising shi tzu's when we just happen to see an older lady caring a little shi puppy around Grayling...she had a group of people making over it and the poor dog was terrified ...i kind of eaves dropped and i heard the name of the breeder . I stuck my nose in and the story I got was worse than ours. her shi tzu had spent more time in the vets than at her home..the dog oddly enough had ear mites, an u t infection, worms..(hers hadn't been wormed either, plus an upper respitory infection. she also had sent a deposit to assure her a puppy and was told the same thing ..when she seen the puppy and didn't want it ..she was losing that $100 deposit just like we were told....and then this elderly lady went on to tell us that this woman spreads puppies like little kids spread peanut butter...so i will try to help you find out who your breeder, is ..perhaps it is the same one....our breeder told us that she didn't have a computer,and the name on the papers was not carol, however the lady with the shi tzu puppy called her carol but told us her real name is Lois.......so we can compare info and see if it is the same one.
