Default High Altitude Cooking Question???

Hey everyone, I made brownies last night and they came out gooey.... My hubby said maybe we should follow the high altitude recipe? We are near Ogden, UT, which I believe is 4000'. Does anyone have experience with this? Everything else I've cooked has been just fine. (not like I don't like gooey brownies anyway )
