With Mia, I put her lying back on my lap and that's when she knows she's going to get brushed, combed, get her eyes cleaned and get her hair up. I use a tiny elastic (probably the size of the tip of my pinky) and I do three turns in her little pony tail. I have to double loop afterwards cuz her hair is long. If I would know how to attach a picture of her, I could show you, but I'm still a newbie
(although I think I managed to put her picture in somewhere on this site). I taught her how to stay still with treats of course, but now she knows that at the end of her brushing, etc. she will get a big treat. Every morning she knows she has to have her eyes cleaned, but she will get some Cherios afterwards
