yes, it poosibly very well could. It depends on your male, but many, many of them - will mark their teritory in your house and when the female is in the house in heat - they will cry, whine, pace back and forth, and the female in heat will usually try to get out and get to the male. You need to have the space, patience, and be very cautious to them during this time. It is hard to go through, especially if not use to it.
