Our new sister site, Lupus Talk, is now up and running! Please excuse the Off Topic post and the Sticky.

Lupus (SLE) is an autoimmune disease that can affect any system in one's body. Basically, the body attacks its own cells and tissues, which can cause inflammation, pain, and possible organ damage.

Ninety percent of people with lupus are women. Over ONE MILLION Americans are currently living with lupus.

Speaking with many YorkieTalk members, it seems that many know someone (be it an aunt, sister, or friend) that suffers from lupus. Please invite them to LupusTalk, we hope create a friendly Lupus Community for patients and family, just as we have done for Yorkies here.

We started LupusTalk because we have several family members and close personal friends with lupus. Since it's a brand new site, there are not many users or posts right now, but feel free to sign up and say hello. We'd appreciate your support! Thanks!
