I agree most grocery stores and where food is served don't really appreciate or allow dogs.

And - you can take your dogs into a lot of places a lot of times before someone finally steps up and reminds you they shouldn't be there. I have never taken my dogs anyplace that they aren't allowed to go. And - only occasionally, for a number of reasons, I have taken them places where I thought it would be okay -- and have not had any problems, but if anyone did tell me they weren't allowed there - I'd apologize, say I didn't know, and not take them back there.

I, personally, do not "sneak" my dog into any place and always try to follow the rules. I do think it is wonderful that dogs are being allowed more places as time goes by. But still -- I follow the rules.

I can't imagine why anyone would ever feel "offended," if they were told that their dog wasn't allowed to be some place...
