My husband has always told me that he couldn't live with someone who doesn't like animals. I'm surprised that your friend's husband has put up with her a lot, especially if he likes animals. Anyways, I think you should have'em coming over but warn her that the dogs are going to be around. No one else should rule your house, but you and your husband (and of course the babies)
