I totally agree with everyone. If you don't feel comfortable with your vet, or don't think she is doing a thorough enough job, then by all means switch. You may want to talk to other dog owners in your neighborhood to see which vets they use and how they feel about them. I am so glad Lexi got a clean bill of health.
And don't worry about her being a bit "chunky". If Italians are anything like Hispanics, you know we aren't truly "healthy" unless we have "a little meat on our bones."
