In reply to your question about travelling with your Yorkie...I took mine from Montreal to Las Vegas. She was pretty calm, but I kept her with me (I didn't send her with the luggages, as you have to with larger dog). I had a Sherpa carrier, and Air Canada allowed me to take her on my lap during the flight. It was a great experience. She slept during most of the trip.
