If you hired a personal trainer, your puppy won't get the socialization she would get as she would in a classroom setting. It's really important to socialize them at an early age so they learn to accept other people and dogs. You've seen those mean little dogs that snap and bark, right? We want to avoid that!

If you decide on classes, make sure you ask for a class where the majority of the dogs are smaller breeds, so your Yorkie doesn't feel intimidated.
