Ok so i been doing research on Yorkies so that I can buy one soon, and I have been writing to people asking them about their puppies and prices. I came across this website called backpage which is basically ad's. Everytime I would google "Yorkies for sale" it would pop up. I decided to reply to a few of the ad's and see what they had to say. To my surprise they all replied the same day and all had a story about how they're not in their hometown and they are in Africa and cannot take care of their puppies at the moment. They also said that they are not worried about money and just want the shipping cost which was $200 or $300. Then they would say that they only want payments through western union and were also saying that they ship through delta airlines. No lie I received 11 emails and they all claimed to be in Nigeria. Most of them said that they were Christians and they claimed to be real religious and that they were in Africa for a missionary. They didn't even question me about how I would care for the puppy or anything like that. I really believe this is a scam, have you heard of this happening before?
