so glad you found something to work for you! my husband is also the alpha male in are home, when he speaks, all ears are pointed and they no he is speaking, he has that more deep rough voice.
I use a water squirt bottle for training Lillie cause she HATES water, so this works well for us, when she is mis behaving all I do is squirt her and say "No Lillie" and it has really helped.
