I remember that with Lucy, she had her microchip done at the same time too, I guess its the best time to do it as they cant feel it, not more pain! Lucy sympathises with your poor tummy. No long walks for a while then! Just wait, a couple of days and she'll be climbing the walls! I know Lucy was when she couldn't have a good run for a while.
