If a breeder of a toy dog is letting it go at six weeks, you should start looking for another breeder. NO Toy dog should be taken from the mom and birth home until minimun weeks, and almost all reputable toy dog breeders will keep them until they are 12 weeks. There is too much chance of them getting stressed from the change so young. Remember, these puppies birth weight is measured in ounces, not pounds. It is much too easy for them to crash from hypoglycemia and even die from it. When I do sell a puppy, I will only sell to someone that will come and pick it up. I absolutly will not ship a toy puppy to anyone. I traveled to get my dogs, and expect someone who wants one from me to come and get it here.
