I can't speak for everyone, but I can say that yes, it did change our stud. He went from being laid back and calm all the time to whining, panting, not wanting to eat, smelling, leg hiking, etc any time he can even smell that you might have been around a female in heat.
Course, we knew that was a risk and understand that's just part of it, so we weren't just upset when his behaviour changed. It is something to consider if you are tremendously opposed to it though.
