The thing with writing your own html is that it is mostly copy and paste. I have a book on html code, but have never used it! Usually, if I'm browsing around and I see someone's website that I like how they did something, I just view their source and see the code that they used.

I've used other free websites and I have found that I like Geocities the best. It is the easiest for me.
