I think she will be fine. Just take her to the bathroom with a piddle pad and let her stretch her legs. At that age, they sleep a lot and it's no different if you are crate training her.
Just make sure she is able to fly in the cabin with you and also check to see if she will need to be kept in quarintine when she gets to the US or back to Japan.
By the way.... LOVE THE NAME!!! Perfect name for an Okinawa Yorkie!
