I"m sorry for the loss of your kitty too - my dear Persian kitty was 18 years old (a couple of years ago). My daughter and I took him to the same vet - same story, only he didn't have to stay overnight and get IV's, it was obvious when we took him in that he was at the end of his life (it was a great life though, he was NEVER sick till the last day of his life!). This same vet didn't charge us a penny to make him comfortable and help him out of this life to the next. I wouldn't trade this vet for all the fish in the sea!!!!!
