I actually stopped full time breeding because of this heartache. It was really hard for me to let them go, but I did want them to go to a home where they were the only one (or two) so they could get all the special attention and spoiling they deserve. I started raising parrotlets because they were much easier to let go for me and I didn't have the deep depression I experienced after a litter of Yorkies left.
I am crying reading your post because I have 12 day old Yorkies and I will have to face this very soon. I've been dreading this even before they were born! |
