I have the Bissell ProHeat Self-Propelled and love it. I love the fact that the solution stays separate from the water tank. I also love the hand attachment it works great on vomit, urine or other doggy messes and is totally ready to use at any time by just switching a button.
I was up late the other night and watched an infomercial on the Rug Doctor MIghty Pro, but the cheapest I could find was about $650.00, plus shipping! It does look to be pretty amazing though. I called our local Rug Doctor rental place (Albertsons, Walmarts, Lowes, Home Depot, etc.) and it was just 19.95 to rent for 24 hours or 24.99 for the wide path model. I did some quick math and found out even if I rented it every other month (doubtful) it would take almost 6 years to come up to the price (and it only has a 2 year warranty on it). So I'll rent the expensive one once a year and stick with my Bissell for accidents and in between cleanings. |
