Love He's a Son.

I learned early that A Daughter's a daughter all her life, A Son's a son until he takes a wife ( girlfriend didn't rhyme)

I'll never forget the year that my son told me he was dropping out of college on Valentine's day & then 5 days later (on my birthday) headed off to North Carolina with a couple of hundred dollars in his pocket.

It broke my heart and truthfully, he's never been back to live at home since then. He is now a Youth Pastor and seems to move farther away every time he goes to another church.

He tells me now that if he had stayed in our little town with his same old friends, he would have been an alcoholic. So what do you say, " You just have to do a whole lot of praying & let them go".

Ruth Bell Graham has written a book entitled The Prodigal and those who love them. It helped me a lot. May God bless you and give you peace.

Sorry, if this turned into a sermon.
